What is in the CBD Store’s products?
We carry 100% organic, terpene rich, CBD hemp oil. Our industrial hemp is always non-GMO and makes use of hemp’s sustainable nature. Hemp is naturally resistant to most pests and therefore does not require pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers.
We use all natural flavoring and other ingredients in our suspensions and incorporations.
Our manufacturers extract using a CO2 process – a safe and environmentally friendly way of extracting hemp oil. Their low heat processes preserve terpenes found in industrial hemp, which keeps our products full spectrum and maximizes their health promoting potential.
Your endocannabinoid system is replenished and optimized with CBD. All animals have an endocannabinoid system, a collection of neurotransmitters found in the brain and immune system. This system helps to regulate function like: mood, memory, fertility, pregnancy, pre-and-postnatal development, pain-sensation, and appetite. Chemicals that activate the endocannabinoid system, called cannabinoids, are also found in a variety of foods but are found in the highest concentration in the cannabis plant. CBD is non-psychoactive (it can’t get you “high”), it is 100% legal under federal law, and it there is a growing awareness of its many benefits.
People’s bodies are unique machines unto themselves. As such, never make any specific medical claims about CBD nor its particular efficacy. A good resource for literature and the latest research is always PubMed. You can search for “CBD” or “cannabidiol” alongside any other medical term about which you may be curious. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/
The CBD Store customers often describe a sense of calm and alertness. PubMed is a great resource for case studies in the use of CBD hemp oil. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/
Cannabinoids on the whole are present in many foods you eat, just not in the concentration they’re found in industrial hemp. Along with the superb quality CBD extract in our products, many but not all of our items at The CBD Store contain a very slight trace of THC – under the 0.3% Federal Legal Limit.
It would be exceedingly unlikely for a person to achieve any psychotropic effect from our products (the “high” associated with marijuana).
Almost certainly, no. There are no identified side effects with CBD use and CBD is nontoxic. The medical community seem to be in agreement that CBD is generally safe for consumption. Reported effects vary by dose, and there’s no sense in wasting product, but it would be very difficult, if not practically impossible, to take too much.
Under Federal Law, industrial hemp and any CBD products must contain less than 0.3% THC. At this minute level, it would take an astronomical amount of any one of our products for the typical person to fail a drug test. Unless you are mega-dosing, over a gram of daily ongoing use, it is very unlikely for this to be a problem.
